Just tap the format you want: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF or ICO. Dimensions stay the same; drop several at once.
Photos: JPG. Screenshots, text, line art or transparency: PNG. For the web, WebP is smallest at the same quality — but older software may not open it, so use JPG or PNG for anything you submit.
Lower quality means smaller JPG/WebP files with softer detail. Around 80 is visually near-identical for photos while cutting size a lot. PNG has no quality setting; the slider is ignored.
PNG, WebP and ICO keep transparent areas; GIF keeps fully transparent pixels only. Converting to JPG or BMP fills transparency with white.
GIF has 256 colours — fine for logos and simple graphics, rough for photos (animated GIFs keep the first frame). BMP is an old uncompressed format for software that only accepts BMP. TIFF is the uncompressed format print shops and scanning software use, so files are large. ICO is the Windows icon format, scaled to at most 256px — for a full website favicon set, the Favicon Generator is better.
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, SVG and ICO are read by the browser itself; TIFF is decoded by this page (first page of multi-page files). HEIC works only where the browser can decode it — Safari on Mac and iPhone, but usually not Chrome, Edge or Android.
Enter your target width in pixels before converting so the SVG scales cleanly without pixelation. Choose PNG output to preserve the alpha transparency channel, or WebP for a smaller file with adjustable quality.
Select multiple product images at once, choose WebP as the output format, and adjust the quality slider to balance visual clarity and file size. After conversion, download all results in a single ZIP archive instead of saving each file individually.
Screens and numbers from actually running this tool with a sample file with no personal data (2026-10-06, Chromium-based browser on a Mac). Results vary with your input and device.

A 3600×2400 sample photo (JPG, 1.10 MB) became 466.7 KB as WebP. Some older programs and upload forms still accept JPG only, so check before switching.
No. Conversion uses the browser's canvas and finishes on your device. Load the page, go offline, and it still works.
Only where the browser can decode HEIC: Safari on Mac and iPhone can; Chrome, Edge and Android usually cannot. Open this page in Safari on the iPhone, or set Settings › Camera › Formats to Most Compatible to shoot JPG.
Yes — two or more images come as a single ZIP.
No, the pixel width and height remain exactly the same as the original.
Yes, you can set an exact output width when converting SVG files.
No, the file is re-drawn on a canvas during conversion, which strips all EXIF metadata.
While changing formats might affect file size, we recommend using our dedicated compress tool for shrinking images.
