How to write a page range
1-3 is pages 1 to 3, 5 is page 5 alone, 8- is page 8 to the end. Combine them with commas, like 1-3, 5, 8-; overlaps are included once. Output always follows the original order.
One file per page
A 100-page document becomes 100 PDFs in a single ZIP. Each file name gets a zero-padded number (-001, -002) so sorting stays correct.
File size after splitting
Only the fonts and images used on the extracted pages are kept, so files are usually smaller than the original. A font used on every page is embedded in every file, so the total can exceed the original.
Password-protected PDFs
They will not open. Remove the password in the original program first.
Tips for common situations
Verify Lease Signature Pages First
Check which pages contain signature blocks or key addendums before entering page numbers so you extract only the relevant sections. All processing runs in your browser memory, so confidential lease terms are never transmitted externally.
Extract Only the Summary Pages
Pulling just the first page or two from a lengthy bid notice significantly reduces the attachment file size. Unlike screenshots, extracted pages retain the original PDF text and formatting without any resolution loss.
Archive Scanned Pages as Numbered Files
When splitting a bundled scan into individual records, the single-page mode creates sequentially numbered files with zero-padding so they stay correctly sorted in your file manager. All pages are packaged into one ZIP archive for convenient saving.
Tried with a sample file
Screens and numbers from actually running this tool with a sample file with no personal data (2026-10-06, Chromium-based browser on a Mac). Results vary with your input and device.
Typing '2-3' as the range on a 6-page sample (3.73 MB) downloaded a 2-page file of 1.24 MB. You can combine ranges such as '1,3-4'; the original is not changed.
In 'one file per page' mode the 6 pages became 6 PDFs in a single ZIP (3.73 MB), numbered in page order.
