AI runs the open U²-Netp model in this browser to find the outline of people, animals and objects. The model (about 4.5 MB) and runtime download once and are cached. Solid colour treats the corner colour as background and removes only similar colour connected to the edges, ideal for white-background products, logos, stamps and signatures.
Hair, fur and glass are hard for any model. Lower 'Edge' for a softer cut, raise it for a crisper one. In solid-colour mode, lower the tolerance when the object is close to the background colour.

AI mode can take several seconds per photo, longer on older phones. Solid-colour mode is much faster for white backgrounds.
