Keepdesk is built and operated by SENULA COMPANY. The company name and the service name differ, but they are the same people.
Trademark notice
“Hangul”, “Hancom”, “HWP” and “HWPX” are registered trademarks of Hancom Inc. Keepdesk is an independent project with no affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement or certification by Hancom Inc. Those marks are used solely to identify the document formats this tool reads and writes. This tool does not present itself as an official viewer of, or a replacement for, any product. All other company names, product names and trademarks mentioned are the property of their respective owners.
Free, and provided as-is
The service is free and comes with no warranty of any kind — not of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
About fonts
The fonts specified inside your document are not used. Whatever the document was authored in, this tool renders both the screen view and the PDF using fonts already present on your device, so that no licensed font file is ever embedded into the output. This is why line and page breaks can differ slightly from the original.
Always check the converted result
Format conversion is never perfect. Substituted fonts can change line and page breaks, and tables, images, equations and special objects may render differently or be omitted. If accuracy matters — a submission, a contract, anything going to print — compare the output against the original before you rely on it. We are not responsible for consequences of skipping that check.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this service — including data loss, business interruption, or lost opportunity.
What you must not do
Do not attempt to circumvent the protection on password-protected documents, process documents you have no right to, or use this tool for any unlawful purpose. The tool does not open encrypted documents; when it encounters one it says so and stops.
About the file formats
This tool uses open-source implementations built from publicly available specifications. OWPML, the basis of HWPX, was adopted as Korean national standard KS X 6101 in 2011, and the specification for the HWP 5.x binary format was published by the format owner. No vendor's code has been copied or decompiled.

If these terms change, the date above will be updated. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
