Who runs this

Keepdesk is built and operated by SENULA COMPANY. The company name and the service name differ, but they are the same people.

In one line

We do not collect the documents you open. We are not able to. The code that reads your document runs inside your own browser, and the file is never transmitted.

Your files and input

Every Keepdesk tool (the HWP viewer, PDF, image, PowerPoint and Excel tools, calculators and more) processes the files and text you add — and the results made from them — entirely on your device. They are not uploaded to us, we cannot see them, we store them nowhere, and they are not used for advertising. When you add a file, Local Shield locks the tab's main outbound channels. When the Studio (beta) on the home page hands a file to a tool, it passes it in memory within your browser only — never to a server, and never stored.

Office Studio

Files opened in the studio are edited in this browser's memory and never sent anywhere. When you choose ‘Edit in Office Studio’ on another page or send a file with Share → Keepdesk on your phone, the file is kept in this browser's IndexedDB storage only while the page changes and is deleted as soon as the studio opens it. Calculator history (last 8) stays in this browser's localStorage. AI background removal downloads its model from this site once and runs on your device.

Games

Names and results you enter in the Games section never reach a server; they stay in your browser's storage (localStorage) so you can pick up later. Result cards are drawn on your device and only leave it when you press Share and pick an app through your phone's share sheet. The Silence Challenge turns on the microphone but never records, saves or sends sound; it computes a loudness number in the tab and turns the mic off when you leave (every other page blocks the microphone). Shake to throw and forehead mode read motion and tilt values in the tab only.

Server logs

Serving a website means the hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, time of request, the address requested). Every website does this. We use it only to operate the service and diagnose faults, and we do not attempt to identify individuals from it.

Visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

To improve the site we look at aggregate statistics — page views, referrers, countries and browser types — through Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies or browser storage, does not identify you or track you across sites, and sends its requests to our own domain. Files and text you add to the tools are never part of it.

Visit statistics (Google Analytics)

To learn which pages and tools are used most, we use Google Analytics (GA4). What goes to Google is the page address (with anything after ? removed) and title, plus usage events: clicks on tool cards and related links, the file extension and number of files you add to a tool, and whether you saved a result. File names, file contents, text you type and results are never sent. Once Local Shield locks a tab after you add a file, Analytics stops sending too; usage events from that tab wait in its sessionStorage and are sent from the next page. Google tells visits apart with its own cookies (such as _ga) and does not store IP addresses. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics is not loaded at all until you consent in the consent dialog — nothing is sent and no cookies are set — and if you decline it stays off. Elsewhere you can opt out by blocking cookies or with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)

Keepdesk shows Google AdSense ads to stay free. To serve them, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to choose ads based on your visits to this and other sites and to measure how often ads are seen or clicked. These cookies are set and managed by Google; Keepdesk does not receive or store that information. How Google uses it is explained in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Keepdesk itself sets no cookies. A few tools (character counter, text compare, JSON formatter, random picker, age and leave calculators) keep your last input in the browser's own storage (localStorage) for convenience; it is never transmitted and can be cleared with Local Shield's 'Wipe' button or your browser's site-data settings.

Personalised ads and how to opt out

Information Google may collect automatically for ads includes pages visited, ad impressions and clicks, and device and browser details, used to personalise and measure ads and kept according to Google's policies. Google collects and processes it directly, possibly outside your country. You can turn off personalised ads in Google My Ad Center or block third-party cookies in your browser (non-personalised ads may still appear). Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent by Google's consent tool before ad cookies are used.

Retention and deletion

Keepdesk stores no files or personal information on its servers, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Access logs are kept and deleted under our hosting provider's (Cloudflare's) policies, and Google's ad cookies follow Google's policies. Tool input kept in your browser (localStorage) can be cleared by you at any time.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information at any time. We hold none, but we will check and reply to any request. Advertising data can be managed in Google My Ad Center, and industry-wide opt-outs are at aboutads.info.

Security measures

Not sending your files or input to any server is the core protection. The site is served over HTTPS only, with a Content Security Policy, code fingerprints (SRI) and Local Shield. See the Security page for details.

Third parties

Keepdesk does not hand your information to third parties. The only collection is what Google gathers directly with its own cookies for advertising and the usage events listed under 'Visit statistics (Google Analytics)', as described above; files and text you add to the tools are never shared.

Children

This service is not directed at children, and we do not ask for or collect anyone's age.

Changes and effective date

This policy takes effect on 25 September 2026. If it changes, we update the date above and announce significant changes on this page before they apply.
